Graduates from relevant field of engineering are eligible to join the program. However, the applicant must have a minimum of 15 years formal education (12 years of schooling plus three years of undergraduate). Furthermore, the applicant must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or 45 percent in Bachelor’s level.

A notice inviting applications for admission is publicly announced. Application forms and information brochures are provided, on request, after the payment of the prescribed fee. The concerned college scrutinizes the application. The eligible candidates are informed to take the entrance test. The date and time for the entrance test are informed to the applicants by the concerned colleges. Final selection of students will be made on the basis of their aggregate scores in the entrance test, experience and their previous academic records. A college may, however, modify the selection procedure to suit its needs with prior approval of the Dean.
The candidates, who are given provisional admission under special condition, are required to submit all necessary documents within a month of the beginning of regular classes. Otherwise, the admission will be canceled. Academic Schedule and Course Registration The academic session consists of two semesters. The admission United Technical College (U-TEC) announces admission for the BE Civil, BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering programs for the academic year 2017-2018 (2074-075). The final date to submit the form for the second intake is 21 Sep. 2017.U-TEC will be conducting its admission test, U-TEC on the 22nd Sep 2017 at U-TEC premises.
Students from Science or equivalent (Physics or Bio) or Diploma in Engineering stream who have completed Grade 12 or equivalent level with a minimum of 50% overall aggregate score may apply for the program. GCE A- level students must have cleared at least 3 Advanced Level Courses. Students who have successfully completed Grade 11 (with 45% or above) and are awaiting Grade 12 results may apply for admission on provisional basis.
The applicant is required to complete the application form with copies of the following documents:
